I had a health crisis and needed to cancel an event through Ticketmaster. I bought the insurance because of this.
Ticketmaster refunded my money but Allianz refuses. They want Proof of my sons cancer!!! They refuse to refund my money because they want a doctors note giving them all my sons cancer information!! I refuse.
Its none of their business!! Im have complained on email, chat and even called. We have been going through *** And I needed that money for bills. They said my insurance was only good for 10 days!!!
They were rude and didnt care at all about my sons cancer. I will never give them my sons personal info. Why should I? No one needs to know this.
Its our personal life.
They have added more stress on me!! And I want more then the insurance money I paid!!

This company is a spam, never buy a ticket insurance, they take your money and the case of of event cancelation they take 4 months to say no as follow. I already report them to BBB.

I purchased a policy during the pandemic to cover my travel. I was assured by the company that this policy would cover issues with Covid.
I was unable to travel to Israel due to a government denial fir me to enter. When I filed a claim for the Airbnb the company denied it. They said the policy did not cover issues with a pandemic.
Why would I buy a policy that did not cover a pandemic in the middle of a pandemic??unless I was told it would.
This company is a rip off. Do not spend your money on their travel insurance.

Purchased 3 airline tickets for a business trip and purchased the insurance that was on the Priceline website. My trip was canceled as a result of covid concerns at my destination and I would have to reschedule.
Allianz paid for one of the ticket claims but denied the other two.
They told me that the one went through their auto-pay system and the other two went to an examiner. Fought with them for an hour to no avail.

I ordered Front row tickets to Rolling Stone's, NOT CHEAP I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. I have called all numbers they are disconnected or this number can't help with my problem I'm calling the number they gave me.
I want my money back that I had to pay this company that gave me a false number.
Not a happy camper and I even had to cancel my flight and still no money back on that why pay Allianz money when they don't help you false numbers. I will get my money back all of it.

Bullying and Stall tactics to avoid paying a claim.
Its been a wild ride......I opened an account online through stamps.com and used stamps.com's insurer PIP (Parcel Insurance Plan) who is apparently partnered with Allianz Global in some capacity. I believe Allianz Global is who PIP calls when they are trying their damnedest to avoid paying a claim out.
Not only have I been falsely accused of filing a "suspicious" claim by PIP and asked for personal information beyond the scope of what's necessary to process the claim but Allianz Global in conjunction with PIP have been using unscrupulous stall tactics to avoid paying my claim out. PIP falsely advertises the claims process as hassle free and says claims will be processed within 10-15 business days. Well its going on day 23 for me. I finally had to get an attorney to assist me in dealing with them after Allianz Global emailed me saying they want me to do a 1 hour recorded statement over the phone to finalize my claim.
Absolutely not! I'm shocked- Flabbergasted at the level that both of these companies have stooped to deprive me of the coverage I paid for on a parcel! Please avoid Allianz Global, PIP( Parcel insurance plan and Stamps.com. They are all in bed together.
Read the terms of service for all of these companies. They guarantee that they will screw you over and leave you with as little recourse as possible.
USPS looks like Mana from. heaven compared to them.

I made a big mistake in paid to that stinky corporation a travel insurance policy.
I cancelled my trip because my mother passed away.
To get my money back they requested my mother dead certificate.
Once I sent my mother dead certificate they are in a merry go round dishonet procedures to get my money back.
I will never ever use or recommend this *** stinky german corporation to any body else.

I have spent 3 hours trying to get a telephone number from your company, every one given was invalid.
I have an Italian Allianz international medical policy. Policy number
73143****. Last month I was sent by a doctor to N.Y. Presbyterian hospital emergency dept. for a suspected Heart attack.
I have now received their bill. I need to get an insurance claim form from your Italian company.
Have eventually got your telephone number 1 80* *******,and each time I ring them they give me a different Italian number to ring .All of them are invalid!!!!
Can you please give me a phone number or address to get a claim form from Italy???

Ticket Insurance
I bought tickets online and insured them so that if I was unable to attend I could get my money back. When I called to cancel because the person I was going with had to back out they told me it must be from illness, weather, or government duty (ie jury duty, military).
AND if you fall under these reasons then you have to file an insurance claim just to get your $100 back... Basically, if you are buying tickets online DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE. It seems worth it for $15 when you're spending ticket money prices but IT IS NOT. They will not cover it.
And if they do cover it you have to go through the same filing and waiting as those who have travel insurance for some tickets.
I'm sure they make a ton of money by scamming people into this but DO NOT BUY IT. If you need to return tickets buy from a website or place that allows returns.
Very disappointed
I purchased Allianz travel insurance in October 2016. After having to cancel my trip due to my job (which is a confidential private air carrier), I filed a claim to have my $150 refunded.
It was denied because I couldn't provide proof that I was actually working. The nature of my work prevented me from giving a proof of working....as my Employer requires a Confidentiality Agreement, which would have ended my employment had I violated it. This was a personal trip that I was originally taking on days off.....and suddenly I was put back on the work schedule....I guess I didn't read the fine print, but I was hoping Allianz would understand....guess they didn't. Now I'm out the money and my trip I'll have to wait awhile.
You'd think that they would honor a Confidentiality Agreement, since I'm sure they have one of their own I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! I doubt that I would use them ever again!

*** company. We bought their insurance through hotwire as an add on when getting a hotel to cover us incase something came up and we had to cancel.
At the time we didn't know the insurance was a third party insurance. On the day of the vacation our daughter got sick and we had to cancel. Spent hours on the phone with hotwire and the insurance company to get the cancellation covered and all the paper work filed. After a month we got a letter saying the claim was denied due to pre existing condition.
News to us and to our doctor. We had no idea that our daughter was going to be sick and had we known what a piece of junk this insurance is we never would have bought it. Never again.
False sense of security and not worth the money or the time spent. Don't waste your money.
Allianz Global Insurance claims procedure sucks
I have been trying to resolve a claim with Allianz Global Insurance for several months.
I had to have surgery and needed to cancel a flight to Columbia.
I canceled the flight several days in advance and made a claim withAllianz Global Insurance within a week.
They sent me doctor's forms to have completed by my doctor along with a letter saying that all forms must be completed as of the date I purchased the insurance.
My doctor made a mistake and put that date in a wrong place on the form. I had the doctor complete the form a second time and send it to Allianz Global Insurance.
Allianz Global Insurance says the second form is completed incorrectly as well.
I think they have a very confusing doctor's form and use it as an attempt to block or delay payments for claims.
I have been dealing with a supervisor at Allianz Global Insurance for more than one month. The supervisor is only available limited times during the day. It takes me more than 10 minutes to get past the phone screening to get to this supervisor.
The doctor's office has not called back during those times. If it takes the doctor more than 10 minutes to get through to the supervisor I am sure they give up.
The doctor is not going to get any compensation from this claim. What is Allianz Global Insurance purpose in making it so difficult to talk with a supervisor?
I feel it is Allianz Global Insurance way to avoid paying premium paying claims.

Failure to pay a claim for a cancelled trip due to medical emergency
What exactly happened in 80 words! I was obliged to cancel a ski trip at the last minute because I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus which required surgery.
Even though I purchased trip cancellation insurance, Allianz demanded documentation for 5-6 months (ever more, ever more, and sometimes the same doctor's statements multiple times), then refused the claim.
Neither the air fare nor the hotel would reimburse myself and my friend because the cancellation was at the last minute. The insurance was purchased through the travel agent, Cardoza-Bungey.

Purchased this insurance because my son, I was told was dying. He lived and I needed to rebook to stay with him in the hospital while he had two more procedures..one to put in the shunt for dialysis.
My expenses were more than a thousand dollars because they said it was an "expected event" and I should have known about it before I left.
They have this crystal ball they can look into for their advice, I guess. Insurance companies are a scam.
They are in business to make money not to pay claims. I will not buy from them ever again

Charging me $699.00 for supposedly getting me approved for 6500.00 credit card @ 11.9 % which I never seen. Now they wan to sue me.
I had a phone call offering to reduce my credit card payments to a lower interest rate. St no time was I informed that they would be adding another $699.00 to my debt.The amount they said they obtained on the new credit card would not have paid the high interest card. All conversations were recorded.
they are now demanding payment of $699.00 for something I did not

Threatened miscarriage and denied claim by Allianz Global
I'm trying to appeal my claim with Allianz which was denied. I am very frustrated as not only did I miss a family trip to Pakistan, I also am starting to think from reading
negative online reviews that Allianz rips people off.
I became pregnant and went to see my Dr. because I have had a miscarriage in the past my dr. was very skeptical of me traveling to Pakistan and said it would be a risk and that there was a high risk of misscarrying. I called Allianz and spoke to two separate people who both said that should be covered if my doctor and I filled out a claim.
my claim was denied, I just spoke to someone in claims and she explained that my claim was denied because it wasn't high risk enough, I would need to be in the hospital, having a misscarriage or have preclampsia. This to me is utter ***, so to be reimbursed I would need to be misscarrying!!!!!!
Are you serious, I will do anything on my end to not misscarry and if my doctor says it's a high risk to travel then i'm not going to travel!
My mom bought our tickets and I want to reimburse her, their employees SHOULD know what they are talking about to begin with and be CLEAR, i was led to believe my claim would be approved because of my threatened miscarriage. I explained it to them how I explained it in my claim and how i'm explaining it now.
It wasn't worth $3000 to possibly lose my baby on the plane or in another country, this company is callous.

I've used this company to insure a room for traveling and the same thing. They're screwing me about processing my claim.
They make you jump through hoops to process a claim and they make it so difficult and hard so they hope you give up and go away. This company is a *** SHOW and I don't know how they can stay in business. Take my recommendation.
Stay far far away from this company. They will screw you just a heads up.
